At an altitude of 871 meters above sea level, the majestic Uetliberg rises above the rooftops of Zurich. The summit of Uto Kulm offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the city, Lake Zurich and the picturesque Limmat Valley all the way to the imposing peaks of the Alps. A magnificent view that inspires visitors.
The Uetliberg is particularly popular in November, as its summit is often covered in fog. In winter, the hiking trails to the summit are converted into toboggan runs, inviting visitors to enjoy a fun toboggan ride.
In summer, the Uetliberg serves as a starting point for signposted hikes, mountain bike trails and the “Planet Trail”. This fascinating 1.5 to 2-hour hike leads to the Felsenegg cable car in Adliswil and offers a unique insight into our solar system.
Getting there is easy: the Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn SZU offers the S10 line from Zurich main station to the Uetliberg station, which is just a ten-minute walk from the summit.
