What do you mean by "luxury travel"?

Our luxury travels through Switzerland meet the highest standards and create unique memories that last a lifetime. They are unique, personal, and unforgettable. Luxury, for us, means:

  • Private guidance for 1 to 4 individuals, family and friends up to 10 people
  • Personal travel guidance by Swiss native Brigitte Heller
  • Selected TOP destinations and attractions
  • Several excursion options available daily
  • Visits to special places often known only to insiders
  • Chauffeured in a comfortable private car
  • Overnight stays in luxury hotels or unique first-class hotels and castles
  • Simultaneous private guidance in German, English, and French
  • Flexible departure dates
  • 24/7 round-the-clock support
  • Bad weather options
  • Daily adjustment to individual preferences

Brigitte Heller personally created and pre-traveled the travel routes. The routes offer a maximum of TOP attractions in various regions of Switzerland. Brigitte Heller grew up in Switzerland and is well acquainted with the country, its landscapes, local traditions and customs, Swiss cuisine, culture, art, etc. Joy, passion, and love for Switzerland have been ingrained in Brigitte Heller since birth for her beautiful homeland.

How are you different from other travel companies?

We organize highly personalized private tours, allowing guests to contribute their preferences to the planning process.
We exclusively offer private tours for solo travelers, couples, families, and friends. Our guests determine the travel dates.
Throughout the entire journey, guests have the same guide, Brigitte Heller personally. She is Swiss and has spent her entire life in Switzerland, frequently visiting the destinations herself.
In your small private group, Brigitte Heller can communicate and provide information simultaneously in German, English, and French.
Personality and trust are our top priorities. That’s why our guests get to know us personally through video chats during the trip planning phase. This is a unique feature not offered by any other travel organizer, only by Brigitte Heller personally.

Which hotels do you select?

Accommodations take place in 5-star luxury hotels or unique, extraordinary and great first-class hotels (unique: view, location, castle, etc.) in preferred room categories. As a former hotel director, Brigitte Heller knows very well the requirements for TOP and unique hotels. She personally visited the hotels before and inspected the rooms.

Where does the travel organization by Switzerland-Highlights.com start and end?

The journey begins in Switzerland at Zurich-Kloten main airport. However, it can also start at Basel-Mulhouse or Geneva-Cointrin, as well as any private airfield in Switzerland. Our services commence after you receive your luggage and enter the public area. We will be there with a board with your name on it and give you a warm welcome.

Are meals included?

Breakfast is included every day. Lunch, dinner, and snacks are not included. We recommend daily restaurants based on your preferences and also handle restaurant reservations. Special Michelin and gourmet restaurants should be booked in advance.

What types of vehicles do you use?

We use comfortable, safe, and air-conditioned private vehicles. For a family or a larger group with friends, we have minivans, travel buses, or SUVs available. Please inform us urgently about the number and size of both large and small suitcases you will be bringing (provide dimensions for length, width, and height). We need this information after the final booking as we must pre-order the appropriate vehicle.

What is the best time to travel?

The months from May to October are the best travel months for our luxury trips. These early summer, summer, and autumn months offer the best weather and temperatures. Daytime temperatures in the country range between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and it is cooler in the mountains. The cold winter months from December to March are dedicated to snow sports and winter destinations.

How long in advance should I plan and book my trip?

Once you have decided for a trip with us, please send us your booking inquiry. Brigitte Heller guides the trips herself, so the first bookings have priority.

What travel documents will I receive after booking a trip?

Once you have definitively booked the trip, we will send you a confirmation of reservation. After receiving your deposit, we will book all hotels, special trains, etc. Following that, we will provide you with a detailed confirmed travel itinerary, including hotels and services from third parties such as special trains.

Who conducts the trip if Brigitte Heller is unable to do it?

If Brigitte Heller is unable to act as the tour guide, only professionals whom Brigitte Heller has known for decades and fully trusts will be deployed. They, too, have grown up in Switzerland and are well-acquainted with the country, its landscapes, local traditions and customs, Swiss cuisine, culture, art, etc. They also bring a lot of joy, passion, and love for beautiful Switzerland.

What happens if I have a health emergency?

We have completed a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course. In case of an emergency, we are capable of providing first aid with our own first aid kit and immediately calling the Swiss emergency medical service at phone number 144. In less accessible locations and in the mountains, the REGA Swiss Air-Rescue service can be reached at any time through the emergency number 1414. The resulting costs will be charged separately by the service providers to your credit card.

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance (including travel delay, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and baggage insurance) as soon as a trip is booked. If you do not have travel insurance and are unable to start or complete your tour for any reason, you will lose the entire amount you paid for your trip. ALL INSURANCES are your responsibility and must be arranged by yourself. Switzerland-Highlights.com assumes NO responsibility for this and CANNOT be held liable.
