On our travel portal we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Through this, we automatically receive certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate your navigation and enable the correct display of our web pages.
Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
You can generally view our travel portal without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. In general, you can disable or delete the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. Links
This travel portal may contain hyperlinks to other websites that are not operated or monitored by us. These third-party websites are not subject to these data protection regulations, and we are not responsible for their content or for their policies regarding the handling of personal data. We recommend that you read the policy of the respective websites and check in what way they protect your personal data and whether they are trustworthy.
Embedded YouTube videos
On some of sites of our travel portal, we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.
If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to deal with such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
For more information on data protection at “Youtube”, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
However, normally we embed Youtube videos with the help of the WP Youtube Lyte plugin. This means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. More about that see below.
Youtube mit dem Plugin WP Youtube Lyte
This website integrates videos from the YouTube website. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube with the help of the WP Youtube Lyte plugin. This means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. The video thumbnails are stored locally on our server.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user’s terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information on data protection at “Youtube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Social Plugins
On our travel portal we use social plugins Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram:
- Facebook / Meta Platforms Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA
- Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA
- Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA
- Linkedin Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Irland
You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo.
Information, which may include personal data, may be sent to the service provider via these plugins and may be used by the service provider. We prevent the unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin also triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves by means of the social plugins or about their use.
We have no influence on what data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. Currently, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider’s services is established and that at least the IP address and device-related information is collected and used. There is also the possibility that the service providers try to save cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a particular page.
If you do not want the provider of the social network to associate the data collected through our Website with your user account, you must log out of the social network before activating the plugins. The legal basis for the described data processing is your consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying the plugin provider in accordance with the instructions provided in its privacy policy.
Right to information, correction, erasure and restriction of processing
You have the right to receive information about the personal data that we store about you free of charge upon request. In addition, you have the right to correct inaccurate data and the right to delete your personal data, as far as there is no statutory storage obligation or another legal basis for the processing in the sense of art. 6 GDPR that allows us to continue processing the data. You also have the right to reclaim from us the data you have given us (right to data portability). On request, we also pass the data on to a third party of your choice. You have the right to receive the data in a common file format.
