From the top of the church and the Capodoro terrace, you can enjoy an overwhelming 360° panoramic view.

A funicular railroad runs from the suburb of Paradiso in Lugano to the mountain peak at 912 m. From the top station, you can reach the viewing platform at the chapel on the summit in just 10-15 minutes on foot.

From the summit of San Salvatore, a hiking trail leads down to Carona or to Pazzallo and Paradiso. This path crosses an intact and relaxing natural landscape and offers magnificent panoramic views from various vantage points.
