As a reminder: none other than Johann Wolfgang von Goethe took the opportunity to climb Mount Rigi on his first trip to Switzerland in 1775. He was absolutely thrilled and wrote in his diary: «Ringsum die Herrlichkeit der Welt» (“All around the glory of the world”).
