The life of Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin was born in London on April 16 1889. Known for his character, the “Tramp ” he was an actor, director and comedian hailing from Britain. His contributions, to cinema left a mark on the industry. Chaplin lived until 1977. Had four children.

Coming from a family background Chaplin began his acting career in England before relocating to the United States. He spent time in both the USA and Switzerland eventually settling in Corsier sur Vevey until his passing in 1977.
