The life of Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889, in London. He was an actor, director, and comedian from Britain. He became famous for his character, the “Tramp,” and changed silent movies. He lived until 1977 and had four kids.

Chaplin’s family were artists, and he started acting in England before moving to the USA. He lived in the USA and later in Switzerland, where he stayed in Corsier-sur-Vevey from 1953 until he passed away in 1977.

He made a big impact on movies and is remembered as one of the best entertainers of the 20th century. You can still watch his famous films like “Modern Times” and “The Great Dictator.”
